ANALYSIS OF SOCCER LEAGUE COMPETITION ALGORITHM FOR LOAD FREQUENCY CONTROL IN NONLINEAR INTERCONNECTED POWER SYSTEM

Load Frequency Control (LFC) is a significant tool that provides an equilibrium between generating and consuming real power for efficient operation of system. In this paper, design performance analysis Soccer League Competition (SLC) algorithm provided optimal solution LFC in nonlinear interconnected systems. SLC has ability escaping from local minimums while increasing searching capability accuracy with their operators. PID controller parameters are optimized order to minimize Integral Time multiplied Absolute Error (ITAE) as objective function. demonstrate efficiency SLC, two different test systems employed case studies. At the first instant study, area thermal plants proper value Generation Rate Constraints (GRC) considered Then, simulations three-area unequal system consist important limitations such GRC, Delay (TD) Governor Dead Band (GDB). Simulation results reveal better dynamic obtained using among algorithms.
